SOMETHING reloved
SUSTAINABLE | ETHICAL | RESPONSIBLE
saying ‘i do’ was just the beginning
NOW ITS TIME FOR THE NEXT CHAPTER
Your wedding gown holds memories unlike any other garment you’ll ever own. Worn in a moment of pure joy, it carries the emotions, stories, and beauty of one of life’s most treasured days. But what happens after?
Something Reloved is our post-wedding service created to give your gown a new purpose - one that honours its story while gently weaving it into the next chapter of your life. Whether it’s transformed into a timeless piece you can wear again, preserved as a keepsake, or reimagined into heirlooms for future generations, this is a way to keep the meaning alive.
Each project begins with a conversation. We take the time to understand what your gown means to you and how you’d like it to live on. From subtle alterations to complete redesigns, christening gowns to embroidered artworks - every piece is as unique as the woman it was made for.
We believe in sustainability that carries sentiment. By giving your gown a second life, we not only reduce waste but create something deeply personal and lasting. All transformations take place in our Yorkshire atelier, where traditional craftsmanship meets modern creativity, and every stitch is handled with the utmost care.
This isn’t about simply preserving a dress - it’s about honouring a moment, a memory, a part of you. Whether you want to wear it again, gift it to someone you love, or simply keep a piece of it close, we’ll help you create something meaningful and made to last.
If your gown still makes your heart skip a beat, don’t let it stay hidden. Let’s turn it into Something Reloved - a beautiful continuation of your story.
Get in touch to start the conversation. We’d love to hear your ideas and explore what’s possible together.

Almost anything. We’ve reimagined gowns into chic dresses, two-piece sets, jumpsuits or seperates, christening gowns, statement tops - even framed keepsakes. The transformation is guided by the fabric, design, and your vision for what comes next.
-
No - Something ReLoved is open to all brides, regardless of where your gown came from. Whether it’s a designer dress or something simple and sentimental, we can help you rework it into something beautiful and wearable.
-
Absolutely. We can preserve elements like lace panels, sleeves, beading, or structure - and reimagine the rest. Or, we can simply tailor it to become a piece you’ll wear again as-is. Every transformation is bespoke.
-
Pricing depends on the level of transformation. We offer a consultation to discuss ideas, then provide a transparent quote. We offer 3 tiers of Service so that we can guide brides towards which Tier will be best to explore.
-
We recommend allowing 8–12 weeks for your transformation, though this may vary depending on the design and time of year. If you have a special date or occasion in mind - like a honeymoon or anniversary - let us know, and we’ll aim to align with that.
-
Yes. While we aim to work primarily with what already exists, we can incorporate fabrics or embellishments to support the redesign. Think: silk linings, updated fastenings, or modern detailing that compliments the final look.
-
Of course. Its why we’re here. You don’t need a full vision before you come to us. We’ll guide you through possibilities based on the fabric, fit, and your style. Together, we’ll uncover the best next chapter for your gown.
-
Yes. If you're not local to the studio, we can arrange a remote consultation and guide you through securely posting your gown to us. You’ll still receive the same personalised service throughout the design and transformation journey.
We also occasionally host pop-ups and studio residencies in different parts of the UK - keep an eye on our Instagram and socials for announcements. We might be coming closer to you soon.
-
Completely. It’s the heart of the service. By transforming your gown instead of storing or discarding it, you’re extending its life and reducing waste. It’s a conscious way to keep the beauty of your wedding day alive - without compromise.
